“Kyoto Creative Game Jam: Games for Good” will be held at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies for four days from November 8 (Friday) to November 11 (Monday), 2024.

This event is a 4-day game creation hackathon, including workshops/seminars, with invited game development experts from the U.S. and Japan on the theme of solving social issues. The winning team at the Game Jam (game development hackathon) will have the opportunity to receive a 4-month remote mentorship (from November 2024 to March 2025. The winning team will not only receive a 4-month remote mentorship (from November 2024 to March 2025, about 1 hour per month), but will also receive a total of 4 million yen worth of development support. This event is an excellent opportunity to develop a game with a social impact theme. Game developers, those with no game development experience, and those interested in solving social issues are encouraged to apply.

Event Schedule	・November 8 (Fri.)-9 (Sat.): Workshop on social issues ・Sunday, November 10 – Monday, November 11: Game Jam (game development hackathon) A game hackathon is an event where engineers, designers, planners, and others who develop games gather for intensive game development. ・Monday, November 11, afternoon: Team presentations and awards ceremony *Participants in this event must attend all four days of workshops and game jams.
Prize-winning Teams	The winning team will have the opportunity to receive a 4-month remote mentorship (November 2024 to March 2025. Approximately one hour per month.) . In addition, a total of 4 million yen worth of development assistance will be awarded.
