The Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair Executive Committee has unveiled the “Kyomafu Collaboration Visual,” a special collaboration between the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair (Kyomafu) 2025—the largest manga, anime, and game event in Western Japan, scheduled for September 20 (Sat) and 21 (Sun), 2025—and a popular anime series.
This special collaboration between Japan’s globally acclaimed culture of “manga, anime, and games” and Kyoto, a city renowned for promoting Japanese tradition and culture, is expressed through six anime series: “Kaiju 8,” “Seishun Buta Yarou wa Santa Kurousu no Yume wo Minai,” TV Anime “Dandadan”, TV Anime “Touen Ankiki”, TV Anime “The Summer When the Light Died”, and TV Anime “Licorice Recoil”. At the venue, we will feature displays using these “Kyomafu Collaboration Visuals” and sell original goods!
■All 6 “Kyomafu Collaboration Visuals” Revealed!
Luxurious “Kyomafu Collaboration Visuals” featuring illustrations specially drawn for Kyomafu (some exceptions apply) are now complete! This year’s theme is “Kyoto’s Hidden Gems.” These six beautiful visuals depict popular anime characters against the backdrop of six “hidden gem” spots within Kyoto—places known only to those in the know, possessing hidden charm.
