The Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair Executive Committee will finally hold the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair (Kyomaf) 2025, one of Western Japan’s largest manga, anime, and game events, at Miyakomesse, ROHM Theatre Kyoto, and the Kyoto International Manga Museum this coming weekend, Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21, 2025.
At the main venue exhibition booths, where 66 companies and organizations, including Yomiuri TV Broadcasting Co., Ltd., KADOKAWA Corporation, Mainichi Broadcasting System, Inc., Aniplex Inc., and Content Seed Inc., will gather, visitors can enjoy merchandise sales of popular works, limited-edition video screenings, figure exhibitions, and character greetings. Furthermore, at the “Nijisanji” booth by ANYCOLOR Inc., which was added last month, the popular units “ROF-MAO” and “ChroNoiR” will appear in character costumes at the booth, holding stage events and greetings.
In addition, there will be a total of 25 stage events over the two days, original products featuring the “Kyomafu Collaboration Visual,” the Kyomafu Shop with a lineup of about 500 items, the “Kyomafu Cafe Stand” offering original Kyomafu food and drinks, and the character cafe area where you can enjoy original menus devised by the Okochi Ambassador. In addition, the newly established family corner will feature a variety of exciting events, including greetings with popular character mascots and workshops related to anime, CG, and Kyoto’s traditional industries!

66 Companies and Organizations Exhibiting! Star-Studded Voice Actor Lineup on Stage!
At the main venue, Miyakomesse, 66 companies and organizations will have booths. Additionally, the Kyoto Mafu Stage (ROHM Theatre Kyoto) and Miyakomesse Stage will host 25 stage programs featuring voice actors from popular works like “My Hero Academia,” “My Favorite Child,” “Bocchi the Rock!,” and “Chainsaw Man: Reze Chapter.”
The Miyakomesse Stage will also feature a free standing viewing area at the rear. Additionally, a limited number of same-day viewing tickets for both stages will be distributed. Visitors without pre-purchased tickets can still enjoy the stage programs at the venue. <Packed with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Anime Events!>
To commemorate the release of the critically acclaimed “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Chapter 1: The Return of Akaza,” the special Mugen Castle train currently running throughout Japan and the Minitai soldiers Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira will appear at the venue! Enjoy greetings with the Mineta soldiers and photo opportunities with the Mugen Castle train.
Furthermore, the large character “滅” (Mei), which won first place in the “Kimetsu no Kanji” voting project that asked people to choose the kanji that best represents “Demon Slayer,” and was written by calligrapher Tomoko Kawao at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, will also be on display. <Yowamushi Pedal Supports “Kyomafu”! Collaboration Goods Now Available!!>
We are thrilled to announce a collaboration between “Yowamushi Pedal” and ‘Kyomafu’! Ahead of its release as a Kyoto City hometown tax return gift, MAG.NET Inc. has planned and produced a “Reversible T-Shirt” featuring the popular character “Midosuji Sho” from Kyoto Fushimi High School, based on Watanabe Wataru’s “Yowamushi Pedal” (serialized in Akita Shoten’s “Weekly Shonen Champion”).

Advance tickets can also be purchased at Loppi terminals in Lawson and Ministop stores nationwide: – For September 20 tickets: From 0:00 to 13:00 on the day of the event. – For September 21 tickets: From 0:00 the day before until 15:30 on the day of the event.
