KYOTO, JAPAN — July 18th, 2024 — BitSummit, Japan’s longest-running indie games festival, has officially announced the games nominated for this year’s BitSummit Awards. BitSummit Drift will be held this weekend from Friday, July 19 to Sunday, July 21, 2024. The Award Ceremony, where the winning titles will be announced, is scheduled for Sunday, July 21, at 3:45 PM JST. Viewers worldwide can tune in via YouTube and Twitch for a live broadcast of the main stage events.

The BitSummit Drift Award Nominees were chosen from more than 300 games and showcase the best of creativity, innovation, and pure fun in indie gaming.

The POPULAR SELECTION AWARD will have its nominees chosen by visitors during the event. They will be announced along with the VERMILION GATE AWARD Nominees for the Best in Show and all winning entries, including all sponsor awards, media partner awards, Game Jam Award, and BitKids Award, at the Awards Ceremony on Sunday, July 21, from 3:45 PM JST live on stage! BitSummit Drift tickets can also be purchased at the venue. If the venue is close to capacity on the day of the event, those who purchase tickets may be asked to wait to enter.
