Mystery novel “Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo no Holmes” written by Mai Mochizuki
Kura is an antique store located in the Teramachi Sanjo shopping street. The store owner’s son, Kiyotaka Iegashira, is nicknamed ”Holmes” because he has an eye for discerning the value of things and a keen intuition. Aoi Mashiro, a high school girl, meets Kiyotaka by chance and ends up working part-time at the storehouse. The two solve requests related to antiques brought into the store one after another. Based on the comic version of this novel that takes place in the streets of Kyoto, it was made into an anime in July 2018, and is currently being broadcast on TV.

Episode 10.
As the new year begins, people with ties to the “Kura” gather together. They started by saying New Year’s greetings together. Kiyotaka and Aoi went alone to “Yada Jizoson” in Teramachi Sanjo. On the way home, the two promised to go to Kiyotaka’s recommended cafe next time. After a few days, the two visited “CACAO MARKET by MarieBelle”, a shop near Keihan’s Gion-Shijo Station. As Kiyotaka said, the actual store also has a chocolatry on the first floor and a cafe on the basement floor. Since Aoi wants to quickly become an adult, and Kiyotaka’s thoughts on love are gradually changing, it is an episode where you can clearly see how the hearts of the two change little by little as the story progresses.
